POA has deep roots in the Greenville community and serving the community is an
important part of the practice. In addition to the Piedmont Orthopaedics Research Foundation, POA participates in local events that benefit the community.
Wheels for Meals 2007

POA was one of the main sponsors of the cycling event " Wheels for Meals" that benefitted Meals On Wheels of Greenville. More than $83,000 was raised
to help provide hot nutritious meals to the elderly or incapacitated residents
of Greenville County. POA physicians and staff were on hand to provide medical
care and advice to the hundreds of cyclists who participated.
Furman University Team Physicians
POA has a longstanding relationship with the Furman University Paladins and have once again partnered with the university to provide orthopaedic services
